A united voice, a strong national community, good working conditions, clear industry practice, access to advice and knowledge sharing - within the profession as well as among design actors and politicians, the need to organize the design industry through a national professional organization is highlighted. Form/Design Center will investigate how we can contribute to a professional organization for designers coming into place.

"Eight practitioners/teams are participating in the project and exhibition Plastic Perspectives. They were selected in tough competition from an open call that received great attention; a total of 116 applications were submitted.
The project is funded by Formas and is carried out in collaboration with researchers from STEPS, Form/Design Center, Konstfack, Furniture Fair, and Formprocess."

7 x konsthantverk is a series of seven exhibitions that will take place during the period 2020 – 2024 through a collaboration between Arts and Crafts Center and Form/Design Center. The project shows, through changing materials and expressions in the exhibitions, the breadth of the craft and the expertise that the craftsman possesses.
