Nine design studios have been selected to present their work at Dutch Design Week

7 x konsthantverk is a series of seven exhibitions that will take place during the period 2020 – 2024 through a collaboration between Arts and Crafts Center and Form/Design Center. The project shows, through changing materials and expressions in the exhibitions, the breadth of the craft and the expertise that the craftsman possesses.

Drawing Room is a series of lectures and workshops that enable meetings between practitioners.

GOING PRO är ett affärsutvecklingsprogram där tio motiverade designers ges möjlighet att ta nästa steg i sitt kreativa entreprenörskap.

Through an open call process, three designers active in Skåne have been selected by Tourism in Skåne, in collaboration with Form/Design Center, to develop ‘The Campsite of the Future’ - a design concept for housing and dining experiences linked to the Skåneleden trail. The assignment is carried out in collaboration with a Skåne-based partner working with food and drink.

An exhibition that aims to show the range and development of craft-driven creativity within today’s design field.

Form/Design Center is one of nine partners in the international project MaDe which aims at highlighting the innovative power of material driven design. The project is run by the organizations Elisava, Ma-tt-er and Politecnico di Milano and is funded by Creative Europe.

There is growing international interest in the dynamic and rapidly progressing design scene in Skåne. In April 2019, Tourism in Skåne and Form/Design Center are organising a press trip with the name “Skåne Design Stories”.

Inom ramen för Iaspis internationella residensprogram i Sverige kommer designstudion Odd Matter (Els Woldhek och Georgi Manassiev) till Malmö för en residensvistelse under maj och juni månad med Form/Design Center som värd.

Sixteen square meters of hotel room furnished with 69 objects of 33 different southern swedish designers – devoted entirely to influencers from all over the world who want to come and spread their image of Malmö. A showcase for the region's design scene curated by TypeO in cooperation with the Form/Design Center on the initiative of Tourism in Skåne and Malmö Turism.

I maj 2021 hålls första upplagan av Southern Sweden Design Days, ett nytt internationellt designevent i Malmö. Designers som deltar i Southern Sweden Design Days fick under våren 2019 möjlighet att söka till intensivprogrammet GOING PRO, där 12 motiverade designers nu ges möjlighet att ta nästa steg i sitt kreativa entreprenörskap. Genom sin medverkan i programmet får deltagarna också en kostnadsfri utställningsyta på Southern Sweden Design Days ’Main location’.

Form/Design Center and Konsthantverkscentrum (the Swedish Crafts Centre) are jointly running a two-year project called Encounter with a Cup. Starting in October 2019, a total of six cups or mugs and their creators are being presented in the Form/Design Center’s café and shop as the cup or mug of the season.
