We visit Rosa Torget — a place that leaves no one untouched. The jury for the Landmark Award describes the square as a “total work of art,” where the artistic takes precedence over the technical, and where form, colour, and movement are at the forefront.

Together with the initiators, we gain insight into how sculptural brick arches and a flowing brick wall create spatial and tactile qualities in the midst of a diverse hospital environment. We discuss the square as a democratic meeting place and a symbolic invitation to community — a place that not only responds to functional needs but poses an entirely different, more playful question: Shall we dance?
