Lecture: The Virtual Reality Phenomenon

Johan Hägerström, editor in chief of VRSverige.se and also its editor responsible under Swedish press law holds a lecture on virtual reality and its ability to take people into new worlds and environments in a way that was hard to do before.

Using this technique it is possible to tell totally new stories that can change how we explore and design the world around us. In the lecture Johan discusses various examples of how virtual reality can be used in architecture, community planning and the design of future landscapes.

The event is free and guests are invited to mingle with the lecturer and enjoy drinks and snacks afterwards. There is also the opportunity to try out a VR headset.

The evening is being organised by students at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences to mark Landscape Architecture Day 2017, www.landskapsarkitekturdagen.se.
