Jona Berglind Stefansdottir is an Icelandic designer living and working in Malmö. She has a MFA in textile design from the Swedish School of Textiles and a BA in graphic design. Her process is led on by material and form studies where an idea sparks off and takes on its own life.
In collaboration with other designers she explores the notion of space and objects in relation to the body creating playful wearable sculptures, while also working commercially with patterns and graphic design.
27–30 May 2021, the very first edition of Southern Sweden Design Days will take place – a new international design event in Malmö. Southern Sweden Design Days invites visitors from all over the world to experience the best the creative southern Swedish design region has to offer.
