A warm welcome to Form/Design Center as we open three architecture exhibitions for the autumn season! The evening will feature engaging conversations with participating architects, curators and international guests, as well as guided tours of the exhibitions.

Exhibition: Aga Khan Award for Architecture
Opening remarks and introduction by Nadia Siméon (Deputy Director of the Award), together with curators Sunniva Viking and Tomà Berlanda (A studio.space).

17.45–18.45 (Floor 2)
Exhibition: Imperfect Assemblies & Malmö in the Making
Two exhibitions come together in a conversation about urban development, design and the future of the city.

How can architecture strengthen democracy? Who gets to shape the city? Imperfect Assemblies explores how architecture and urban development can contribute to a more democratic society. Through a spatial installation and an extensive programme of talks, workshops and guided walks, the exhibition investigates how our shared spaces can become places for dialogue, participation and collective responsibility.

As part of an international collaboration, Form/Design Center presents the winners of the 2025 Aga Khan Award for Architecture. Established in 1977, the award was the world’s first architectural prize to shift the focus beyond aesthetics alone, recognising projects that improve people’s quality of life and strengthen local communities.
