Through a range of collaborative platforms, we work together with the public sector, academia, businesses and industry organisations to develop knowledge and drive progress towards the sustainable living environments of the future.

Urban Academy

Urban Academy is a cross-industry platform that brings together stakeholders from business, academia, civil society and the public sector to strengthen representation, knowledge exchange and new perspectives within the built environment sector. Through cross-sector collaboration, it creates the conditions for a more inclusive and sustainable approach to shaping the built environment of the future.

Botildenborg

Botildenborg is a farm and organisation dedicated to strengthening people and communities through food, cultivation and a sense of community. Together with Form/Design Center, Malmö University, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, LUCSUS at Lund University, Region Skåne and the City of Malmö, Botildenborg runs SOIL Social Innovation Living Lab.

New European Bauhaus

Form/Design Center has been appointed official partner in the European Commission's New European Bauhaus (NEB) - an initiative that adds a cultural and creative dimension to the European green transition to encourage sustainable innovation and technology.

Local Chapter Skåne – New European Bauhaus

Regional platform

Form/Design Center is one of eight organisations in Local Chapter Skåne – part of the EU’s New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative, which brings together sustainability, aesthetics and inclusion in shaping the living environments of the future. Through this collaboration, Skåne contributes to Europe’s transition, with a strong focus on culture, design and societal development.

Architects Sweden and Form/Design Center

Architects Sweden and Form/Design Center have maintained a close, long-term partnership for many years. With a shared resource based at Form/Design Center in Malmö, the two organisations actively work to strengthen the local discourse on architecture.

Collaboration between the City of Helsingborg and Form/Design Center

In autumn 2025, the City of Helsingborg and Form/Design Center entered into a closer partnership to strengthen the development of designed living environments in north-western Skåne. Through joint initiatives, the partners aim to create a platform for dialogue, learning and development that contributes to sustainable, inclusive and attractive environments where people can live, work and come together.

The Centre for Housing Architecture

The Centre for Housing Architecture (CBA) is a national platform at Chalmers University of Technology that promotes knowledge exchange, research and dialogue on housing and housing-related issues. In collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering (LTH) at Lund University and Form/Design Center, CBA Syd has been established as a regional extension focusing on housing issues in southern Sweden.

Share Future Living

Share Future Living is a cross-sectoral research and collaboration project between academia, business, organisations and the public sector with a focus on housing sharing and social sustainability. The project is implemented in various phases, initially with the support of Formas, the state research council for sustainable development.
