The artist collective Parts & Pieces explores material processes, craft histories, and personal narratives through ceramics, textiles, wood, stone, and mixed media. Through the lens of social anthropologist Tim Ingold’s book Lines: A Brief History, the exhibition brings together weaving, walking, observing, singing, storytelling, drawing, and writing as different ways of following lines—whether threads through space or traces across a surface.

The works create material conversations in which diverse methods and forms of expression intersect, bringing together associations, experiences, and craft traditions.

The exhibiting artists are Maja Bakken, Linnea Blomgren Cassius, Ulrika Mårtensson Hanje, Sabine Offerlind Thunberg, Klara Wirsén Suchowiak, Linda Zetterman, and the exhibition’s curator, Marie O’Connor. Together they form the artist collective Parts & Pieces, established for Stockholm Craft Week 2022 and exhibiting annually as part of the festival ever since.
