OAS – Open Architecture Studio is organised by Form/Design Center and Architects Sweden Skåne, bringing together architecture studios, landscape architects, planning professionals and others working within the built environment. During the event, participating studios open their doors to visitors interested in discovering current projects, working processes and visions for the future.
Through an open format, with studios across Malmö taking part, OAS offers a broad view of the different stages of architecture – from early sketches and concepts to ongoing and completed projects. Visitors have the opportunity to meet professionals in their working environments and gain insight into the questions, choices and processes that shape the built environment.
OAS is a recurring meeting place for knowledge exchange and dialogue between different actors within architecture and an interested public. By opening up architectural practice, the event contributes to a greater understanding of architecture’s role in societal development and creates new opportunities for conversations about the future of the city.
