In the exhibition Play for Democracy children of all ages can try making their own miniature demonstration sign, build their own rooms with cardboard boxes or contribute to a joint plan collage!

MAKE YOUR OWN DEMONSTRATION SIGN

At this station, you can make your own demonstration sign in a mini format. Feel free to place it together with the other visitors' signs on the podium next to the table. (There are also "speaker boxes" that you can stand on to meet Robin Holmberg (chairman of the municipal board Ängelholm) at eye level just like the children in the film showing in the exhibition).

BUILD YOUR OWN ROOMS

Move the cardboard boxes around and place them however you like. Build your own walls and rooms and see how they feel. In the film showing in the exhibition, you can see clips from the exercise.

CREATE A JOINT PLAN COLLAGE

Use blue paper and a white pencil to make your floor plan. A town hall is for everyone – what do you think it should contain? Draw a room and write words in each area that describe what is in the room/what it is used for. When you're done, cut out your drawing and put it up on the wall with other visitors' drawings.

The exhibition Play for democracy presents the research project Lek för demokrati where 120 pupils (in year 5) have contributed with their ideas and thoughts about what matters when a new town hall is planned in Ängelholm in 2027.
