In our creative workshop, we take inspiration from a current exhibition at Form/Design Center and use it as a starting point for our own making. Each session has a new theme where children discover design and form by experimenting, building and trying different materials and techniques.
On this occasion, inspired by the exhibition Swedese x Mora, we try the role of furniture designers. How do you design a piece of furniture that is both attractive and stable? We construct and decorate our own stools using cardboard and corrugated board.
The workshop is led by educator Anna Zingmark and is aimed at children aged 6–14. Participation is free of charge and no prior experience is required – curiosity and the joy of creating are all you need.
