The authors highlight examples from both the public and private sectors, showing how design can create the conditions for major transformation processes such as digitalization, industrial transition, person-centered care, and sustainable development. The book not only describes methods, tools, and practices but also provides a broader understanding of the knowledge areas that form the foundation of service design as a discipline.

In addition to the book presentation, the breakfast seminar includes a conversation on service design and societal transformation between the authors and invited guests: Alicia Smedberg, researcher at Malmö University, and service designers from the Department of Health and Social Care, City of Helsingborg, who will share insights from their work in relation to the book’s themes.

Breakfast will be served from 08:00, followed by the presentation and discussion from 08:30 to 09:15.
