Seminarierna hålls under eftermiddagen den 27 maj i Sveriges Arkitekters paviljong (ritad av In Praise of Shadows) i trädgården till Serra dei Giardini som ligger i anslutning till biennalområdet. Under september månad kommer också en mindre utställning att visas där.

Svenska institutet är huvudman för denna del av Sveriges bidrag till Biennalen och arrangemanget sker i partnerskap med Sveriges Arkitekter. Årets Biennal är den 16:e i ordningen och årets tema är Freespace.

Seminarium 1: A NEW NATIONAL POLICY FOR ARCHITECTURE, ”LIVING ENVIRONMENT”.

How a new policy could strengthen the importance of good architecture and the quality of life.

Seminarium 2: THE FUTURE FOR ARCHITECTURE – WHAT SHOULD ARCHITECTURE MAKE?

Architecture should, in the perspective of the Global goals, be a part of new solutions. Are architects prepared? Education, skills and the implementation of the Global Goals.
