What will the built environment look like when our common sustainability goals are achieved and how will the sector function and be organized in such a future? What futures are we working towards together and what steps do we need to take along the way?

The visions presented in the project The Futures We Build are designed to support, inspire and inform more actors to collaborate, transform and together find new ways of working and organizing. The aim is to support the public and built environment sector to utilize the possibilities of digitization and meet common sustainability goals based on aspects such as circularity, quality, functional sustainability, aesthetic design, robustness, to counteract and adapt to climate change, ensure access to housing and infrastructure and create inclusive societies.

The Futures We Build is a strategic project within Smart Built Environment and is run by Media Evolution. It is financed by VinnovaEnergimyndigheten and Formas.
