What happens when waste is seen as a resource rather than a problem? In this seminar within Material Depot, we explore how design can transform residual materials into new value—through circular processes, innovative materials, and experimental methods.

The evening brings together designers, researchers, and practitioners working at the intersection of production, material development, and sustainable transition. Through presentations and discussions, we gain perspectives on how waste can be integrated into the design process—from industrial value chains to craft-based experimentation.

During the evening, the upcoming call within the SPOK SWE + DK project will also be presented. The initiative aims to foster exchange across the Øresund between designers and manufacturers and to disseminate the SPOK model in the Nordic region. The project is carried out in collaboration with Design denmark.
