Explore natural dyeing and create vibrant patterns using nature’s own pigments. During the course, you will work with flowers, leaves, and everyday materials to add colour and form to textiles — a playful and sustainable way of working.

Learn how to create patterns using natural ingredients such as flowers, leaves, food waste, and traditional pigments.

During the course, instructor Karin Alice Bjurström will introduce suitable plants and pigments and guide you through the process. You will then dye the materials you have brought with you, which you will take home for fixing and heat treatment.

Additional information will be sent upon registration, which is important to review before the workshop.

Course Leader

Karin Alice Bjurström runs the clothing brand ALICE FINE and specializes in natural dyeing using plant-based pigments. In 2024, she published the book Plant Magic, featuring step-by-step instructions and recipes for a wide range of projects to try at home.
