Studio Blank x Claesson Koivisto Rune

The architecture and design trio Claesson Koivisto Rune collaborate with goldsmiths and engraver Studio Blank in three unique, wearable, and stackable silver pieces: a neck collar, a bangle, and a ring. The collaboration explores the boundaries between architecture, design, and craft, allowing the bangles to function as building blocks and testing new modes of use. The result is a playful collection of high-level contemporary craft, ready to demonstrate both the precision of craftsmanship and the vision of design.

The collaboration combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology to reinterpret the Wiener Werkstätte and the early twentieth century in new ways. The collaboration is rooted in an exploration of the colour, structure, and light of glass, where ideas and experiments lead to a shared expression. The work demonstrates how traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design can meet in an innovative, visual, and tactile form.
