On 22–25 May 2025, Southern Sweden Design Days celebrates its 5th edition. During four days, the city is filled with exhibitions, seminars, workshops and networking events.

Southern Sweden Design Days invites visitors from all over the world to explore a wide range of design areas focusing on sustainability, development and innovation – from artistically progressive objects to examples of how leftover industrial materials can be given new life. Galleries, shops, showrooms and designers' workspaces are open to visitors.

Visitors get to experience design from different perspectives in different places around Malmö, while at the same time being given the opportunity to discover new areas of the city.

Lokstallarna in Kirseberg is the festivals Main location with 6,000 square meters of exhibitions, a live studio, activities for kids, a food court and much more.

The purpose of Southern Sweden Design Days is to spread knowledge about design, architecture and crafts - with a focus on sustainability, cooperation, development and innovation. The festival is aimed at a broad public as well as professional visitors.

Open Call: SSDD 2025

1 NOV 2024 – 15 JAN 2025

On 1 November, this year's open call for participants to Southern Sweden Design Days 2025 opens. SSDD is open to participants in design, architecture and arts and crafts - we welcome a wide range of actors in various design fields to participate. The application is open until January 15, 2025. More info on how to apply will come soon.

Main Location – Lokstallarna

Southern Sweden Design Days 'Main Location' is held in the old railway workshop Lokstallarna in Kirseberg. Explore 6,000 square meters of exhibitions, a live studio with seminars and talks, activities for kids, a food court and much more.
